Installation

Installing Nuheat is as easy as 1, 2, 3. The mats are installed directly between the tile or stone and subfloor requiring the same bonding materials that are being used to lay your floor - no extra supplies are needed.

Nuheat mats, whether standard or custom come ready to fit your room.Your installer does not need to string out, cut or splice any heating wires. He simply bonds the Nuheat mat to the subfloor with thinset (tile adhesive) before adhering the tile to the floor.

Tile and Stone Installations

The installation of Nuheat mats is a simple process that takes a fraction of the time when compared to other floor heating systems. The Nuheat Mat(s) is simply adhered to the subfloor using thinset and the flooring can then be immediately installed over top.

Laminate and Engineered Wood

Just like a tile and stone application, Nuheat floor warming systems can take the chill out of laminate and engineered wood surfaces, ensuring you the pleasure of barefoot comfort in any room in your home. The Nuheat Mat(s) is simply adhered to the subfloor using thinset then covered with 1/4" thick layer of thinset. Then follow manufacturer's installation instructions to install the underlay and your laminate or engineered wood floor.

When installing Nuheat under laminate or engineered wood, Nuheat requires the use of the MatComfort 82F programmable thermostat to protect the warranty of your floors.
