501 Foundation Coating
W.R. Meadows 501 FOUNDATION COATING solvent-type dampproofing is an asbestos-free, fibered and non-fibered asphalt compound containing an exclusive wetting agent to convert a naturally hydrophobic surface to a hydrophilic surface to assure proper coating adhesion. 501 FOUNDATION COATING is flexible and will span small holes and hairline cracks. The product will withstand temperature changes and will not crack under normal expansion and contraction.

Applications
- 501 FOUNDATION COATING solvent-type dampproofing is ideal for reducing dampness and moisture infiltration through foundation walls, parapets, fire walls, tanks, culverts, cisterns, and bridge abutments. The product is also applicable for stone-backing, above-grade cavity wall applications, and below-grade masonry wall dampproofing. 501
- FOUNDATION COATING also helps to minimize internal structural damage from mildew and mold. With the addition of a reinforcing fabric, it can also be used as a waterproofing coating.
